Brief Overview

The Yarnin' Money (Train-the-Trainer) program is unique and aims to overcome geographical barriers by connecting remote communities across Australia to regional financial counselling services, by developing the skills of community workforces.  The course focuses on skilling providers to be able to utilise a narrative (story telling) approach to create participant engagement in Yarning' Money course activities. Participants will gain an understanding of how to utilise a narrative approach (through storytelling – how to create the ‘yarn’) when delivering financial literacy training and provide an in-depth overview of how to support an Indigenous clients’ financial needs.
