ICAN Learn is off to a flying start in 2025, rolling out the delivery of free MoneyBusiness Coach training across Australia, thanks to ANZ and funding from the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
The training was developed by ANZ specifically to upskill frontline community service professionals working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
As a proud training partner, ICAN Learn is providing community workers with critical financial literacy skills to achieve better outcomes for Indigenous clients using the MoneyBusiness resources.
ICAN Learn MoneyBusiness trainer Alison Gray said, “Money is something that often we don’t feel comfortable talking about, either in our personal life or with the clients we work with. MoneyBusiness training not only provides people with fantastic tools and resources, but it also gives us the confidence to talk to clients about their money issues.”
This two-day training provides visual aids, session plans, and teaches people how to have a money conversation either in a one-on-one setting or as part of a larger community education group.
This is a unique professional development opportunity for frontline community service workers provided completely free of charge.
