Brief Overview

ICAN Learn provides 1:1 full support for students wishing to study the Diploma of Financial Counselling on line. Placement is a requirement of this course and we will support you to seek placement in a financial counselling agency.
ICAN Learn online approach gives opportunities to join face to face groups being delivered in regional areas as/ when possible to extend the learning journey of our online students. Our online students are invited to join group forums with other online students.
Our teachers link in with online students each week and as needed to provide full study support.

ICAN Learn trainers have many years-experience developing and providing professional supervision within the Financial Counselling workforce and are keen to share their knowledge and experience in a structured non-accredited format, that meets the requirements of your State Association.

Multi Cultural Scholarship Program

ICAN Learn is seeking people from diverse non English speaking backgrounds who may be working in a community services organisation and are interested in becoming a qualified financial counsellor to work with people in financial difficulty from their communities .

Indigenous Financial Counselling Mentorship Program

Brief Overview

The Indigenous Financial Counselling Mentorship Program (IFCMP) has an 8 year history with 34 participants from across Australia successfully graduating with a Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling). ICAN Learn, a RTO, which is a subsidiary of the Indigenous Consumer Assistance Network, will deliver CHC51115 - Diploma of Financial Counselling which supersedes CHC52108. The Diploma of Financial Counselling is run over 18 months.
