Course Overview
This unit of study assists students to gain the knowledge and skills required to identify Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural safety issues in the workplace, model cultural safety in their own work practice, and develop strategies to enhance cultural safety.
It is targeted at workers in the financial counselling, financial capability and community services sector who work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and is delivered by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander trainer.
